Lotus Cup UK and Elise Trophy Oulton Park

Rob Boston Racing were back out at Oulton Park on the 20th June for the Lotus Cup UK and Trophy Championships with a mixed start that matched the weather!

Jason Baker had a strong qualifying session and claimed 2nd in Cup and 3rd in Trophy, Freddie Hetherington qualified a solid 6th and the wet conditions worked to Adam Gore's disadvantage with a 5th place lap time. An incident with Ryan Savage and the tyre barrier on the last corner resulted in a damaged car and no qualifying time set; the fight would be on to work through from the back of the grid.

Brands Hatch Lotus Festival

The Lotus Festival at Brands Hatch on the 16th/17th August was another fantastic race weekend for the Rob Boston Racing team. There were very impressive results for all our drivers in qualifying, with Team RBR claiming 1st, 3rd, 6th and 7th from a 32 car grid!

David Pittard dominates Ginetta SuperCup at Thruxton with SV Racing and Rob Boston Engineering

SV Racing’s David Pittard opened his race wins account in a commanding and dominant fashion in Rounds 7 and 8 of the 2014 Michelin Ginetta GT Supercup on Hampshire’s ultra-high speed Thruxton circuit on Saturday (3 May).

The 20-minute Ginetta GT4 Supercup qualifying session on the 2.36mile Hampshire-based track was a close-run thing and the battle for pole position provided a great deal of excitement.

Snetterton Race Report

Norfolk's Snetterton circuit hosted the opening round of the Elise Trophy Championship and Lotus Cup UK for 2014. Rob Boston Racing was supporting 3 drivers and 3 cars at the meeting, including seasoned competitor and 'Lotus Driver of 2013' Adam Gore, 2013 rookie Jason Baker returning for a second season and novice David Stead, competing in his first ever car race.
